Do you spend too much time looking for tools in your sewing room? Well now you won’t have to. In this workshop you will make your own Quilted Sewing Machine Mat. They’re great for keeping all your tools in one place while protecting your table and making it easier to move your sewing machine in to position. We will also cover cutting and measuring techniques, fabric placement, quilting, designing and creating your front pockets and binding. The Workshop is scheduled for Saturday 17 May 2025 from 9.30am – 1.30pm. There’s only ONE spot left so get in quick to secure your place
Pre-requisites: Basic sewing skills.
Bring your own lunch, machine, sewing tools, fabrics and wadding. A resource kit can be provided for an additional $45. I have some fun new fabric colours so contact me if you’d like more information. The resource kit will contain all fabrics for the main, backing, pockets, lining, binding and wadding. Home-made cake or biscuits will be provided for morning tea. Feel free to bring your own if you have any special dietary requirements
Bookings are essential. This is a 4 hour workshop with a maximum of 4 participants. It will be held in my new sewing studio at Malua Bay, south of Batemans Bay in New South Wales, Australia. Payment is required to reserve your place. Once this is filled I will take reservations and contact you with future workshop dates. Please contact me if you would like to attend this workshop at a later date
