Payment

Payment is accepted through secure online payment via Square or PayPal. You can also pay by credit card through Paypal or Square without having to set up an account. Select “Paypal” at the checkout and follow the instructions. Please contact me if you experience problems with the payment process and I can send you a link for secure online payment

In cases of non-payment the sale will be cancelled after 3 days and the item re-listed

All credit/debit card and PayPal transaction fees are the responsibility of the buyer. All customs and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer

Seller information

Items are all individually handmade by me. Custom orders can be taken with a change of fabrics, linings, zippers etc. Contact me for all custom requests. Custom orders will not commence until payment is received

Processing time

The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. All of my products are individually handmade. I currently have a high number of orders to work through so aim to post an item within 1-3 business days if ready to post or 3-4 weeks if it needs to be made. I aim to make and post earlier but require this timeframe to pace myself and ensure my high standards of workmanship are met

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Chain Bay Sewcraft is not responsible for delays due to customs or shipping

Refunds and Exchanges

These are unique one-off handcrafted items and as such all sales are final. Returns are only accepted if the item was damaged in shipping and the buyer has requested to add Australia Post insurance to their purchase

Shipping

Important: Please ensure you enter the correct shipping address. Chain Bay Sewcraft takes no responsibility for items posted to an incorrect address and is not responsible for any costs incurred with this

Purchases made with PayPal – your purchase will be shipped to the address listed on your Paypal account so please ensure that your address in Paypal is correct

Shipping costs will depend on an items weight and size. Each item will have an individual shipping cost listed

I will aim to turn orders around quickly however each item is individually handmade. Unless items are in stock your order will be shipped within 2-3 weeks of receipt of payment. Items will be shipped via Australia Post using either Registered Post-domestic or Air Mail International

Please contact me if you wish to add postal insurance or Express Post for your purchase – I will then provide a shipping quote prior to purchase

If your item is received damaged and you have taken out the Australia Post insurance option, please keep all packaging – take digital pictures and email to me ASAP so a claim can be started. I will then contact you to discuss the return of the item

Sewing Workshops – Cancellations and Transfers

Sewing Workshops are non-refundable. However if you are unable to attend and wish to cancel your booking the cost of purchasing a resource kit if purchased is refundable minus any transaction processing fees of 2.5% (if applicable)

Sewing Workshops are non-transferable. The only exception to this is if you have purchased a Sewing Workshop as a gift. Please let me know the name and contact details of the person who will be attending at the time of booking
