In the painting Maureen depicts large groups of women out searching for bush tucker after rain has softened the ground and stimulated growth. The women are the U shapes (the imprint on the ground when sitting) and beside them are their digging sticks, and the holes. The circles are important dreaming sites in Maureen’s country, called Warlukurlangu
