Sewing Workshop – Create a Book Pillow – 29 March 2025

In this Sewing Workshop we will design and create a Book Pillow. You can choose to attend as a stand alone workshop or combine with the Applique Techniques Sewing Workshop on 22 March – this workshop is now SOLD OUT! Please contact me if you’d like to attend at a later date

I am combining two Sewing Workshops – the first learning the skills to create an appliqued project with letters, shapes or an animal and the second creating a Book Pillow using this project.  You will get a $20 discount if you book both workshops together (discount applied at checkout – if that doesn’t work enter code AppliquepillowCBS20).

The workshops are scheduled for the following dates:

Saturday 22 March 2025 – Applique Letters Workshop and Saturday 29 March 2025 – Appliqued Book Pillow Workshop

Bring your own machine, sewing tools and fabrics. A resource kit can be provided for an additional $30. We will only be making the Book Pillow cover. A cushion insert is not included. Feel free to bring your own along – size 40cm x 40cm. Morning tea will be provided (or bring your own if you have special dietary requirements)

Resource Kit – If you order the resource kit it will contain fabrics for the book pillow and handle (cushion insert not included). I have two options available – the book print shown on the ‘Maximos’ cover and the fabrics shown in the ‘Cooper’ cover (I cannot name the fabric for copyright reasons). Please let me know which fabrics you would like when booking or if you have a fabric colour preference and I can let you know fabric options prior to the workshop

Bookings are essential. This is a 3 hour workshop with a maximum of 4 participants. Workshop numbers are limited to small groups to allow for a relaxed and personalised experience. It will be held in Malua Bay, south of Batemans Bay in New South Wales, Australia. Payment is required to reserve your place. Once this is filled I will take reservations and contact you with future workshop dates
