Sewing Basics Workshop – Adult and Child

Sewing Lessons for an adult and child to come along and learn the basics of sewing together. ** Get $10 off per session if booked before the end of March 2025 (bookings are for sewing lessons in March only at this price) ** NEW Sewing Workshop commencing in 2025. Do you have a child that is keen to learn to sew? I love teaching people to sew and have been asked a few times if an adult can learn along with their child. Well now you can 🙂 This Sewing Basics Workshop is suited for a child to come along with an adult and covers machine-based tuition for participants who are new to sewing or keen to explore more. Bring your own machine or I have one you can borrow. In this Sewing Basics – Adult with Child Workshop you will both learn machine safety, maintenance and familiarisation with your machine. We will identify stitch options, complete a small project and cover any questions you may have. I like to tailor this workshop to the child’s needs and interests so if there’s anything they’re particularly interested in learning please let me know when booking. I have a current Working with Children clearance as at August 2024

No pre-requisites for this workshop – suitable for a child to be accompanied by an adult

Bring your own machine and resources. I also have a machine you can borrow if you don’t have your own machine yet. Please let me know in advance if you’d like to use one. All resources will be provided for the first workshop

Bookings are essential. This is a 1.5 hour workshop with a maximum of 2 participants. It will be held in Malua Bay, south of Batemans Bay  in New South Wales, Australia. Also available as a live online workshop. Payment is required to reserve your place. $60 for the first workshop. $55 for ongoing workshops with an adult and child
